Nowcasting International Ltd was acquired by MeteoGroup in May 2011 and MeteoGroup Offshore combines expertise and experience from both companies. The team, which now forms the new division, has been providing metocean solutions for over 25 years and has developed unique proprietary products such as Nowcasting Pro6, an operational planning tool for delivering high resolution metocean forecast services.

MeteoGroup Offshore’s products and services are showcased at Offshore Europe 2011 where MeteoGroup Managing Director, Jennie Campbell, formally announced the launch of MeteoGroup Offshore and unveiled the new logo and website www.meteogroupoffshore.com.

Coinciding with the launch, was the opening of a new forecasting office in Aberdeen which will be run in tandem with the Group’s marine forecasting headquarters in the Netherlands.
